Why tell your story?
It’s an impulse as old as humanity; a desire to leave behind our own story as a legacy for future generations, a history that enables them to understand the past and celebrate the events that have helped shape who they are.
Who hasn’t wondered about the life of a family member after they’ve gone, regretted not taking the opportunity to uncover what they had seen and done and the stories they could have told us.
By telling your story, you can ensure that your family and friends will never be left wondering what if? Instead, they can celebrate a life well-lived.

As well as a personal story, we can also help you tell the story of your business and celebrate its success. From how it began and how you built it up, your story will chronicle the years of effort and hard work taken to get it to where it is now. It will be a book for yourself and family, but also one to, perhaps, share with valued customers.
Arranging for a family member to tell their story can be the perfect gift for them. It’s a wonderful way for them to relive their past and know that future generations will know their story and their past.
Your story could also be one that gives a written account of a landmark event that you have achieved on your own or as part of a team. Whether you ran a marathon or climbed a mountain, fundraised for a cause close to your heart, what did it take to succeed? What obstacles did you overcome?
A book will be a tangible testament of what you achieved. Fortunately, has never been easier to tell your story – and we are here to help you.
Who are we?
‘What’s Your Story?’ is run by Rachel Loos and Michael Streeter. We are two very experienced writers, journalists and editors who have taken a keen interest in our family histories. We share your passion for telling your story. More details here.
How we work
First we chat to you to get an idea of your story and how you would like it done. Then we interview you, either in person or via a video link, and usually over a few days, before writing your story. It’s that straightforward. More details here.
